Coffees are as unique as their origins

A forest scene with a small stream running through it, surrounded by lush green trees and dense foliage.

We search for coffee that has it’s own character, uniquely flavorful and is sustainably and ethically produced.

Our pour choices can be your next source of pleasure. We offer coffees from around the worlds best coffee producing countries, from small farms, cooperatives and specific regions. We do not blend our coffee because we want to highlight the specific qualities of locally sourced coffee crops, their unique characters and flavors, and bring you an authentic experience.

There are fewer mysteries in roasting coffee than there are in sourcing good quality green coffee beans.

We roast in small batches so we can provide the freshest roasted coffee possible. We trade efficiency for quality and consistency for variety, not every batch will come out exactly the same due to many variables

  • Temperature (seasonal variations)

  • Humidity

  • Green coffee bean age (like wine)

  • Batch size (1-3 pounds)

  • How it is roasted and level of roasting

  • ground v. Whole beans (whole beans keep better)

Purchaser variables

  • Grind

  • Type of brewing

  • Water temperature (+/- 200 F is best)

  • Strength (more is not always better)

  • Water quality (chlorine/bromine are bad)

  • Storage habit (stable temp out of the sun)

The journey of coffee from the grower and processor, to the exporter and distributor, the hands of the roaster and packager, and finally to you the final handler of the sacred bean, is truly an odyssey.

We take our role in this journey seriously, we never want to provide you with a bean we do not enjoy ourselves.
